Fermentation is where your wort actually becomes beer — and it's the part most worth tracking. BrewLog is a free, private fermentation tracker that lives entirely in your browser. Start a batch, then log a dated specific-gravity reading each time you pull a sample. BrewLog plots the downward trend so you can see fermentation slow and stop.
Open BrewLog →A single gravity number tells you very little; the curve tells you everything. The classic sign that primary fermentation is finished is a stable gravity: two or three readings, a few days apart, that no longer drop. Logging readings catches stuck fermentations early, tells you when it's safe to cold-crash or dry hop, and protects you from bottle bombs by confirming the yeast is truly done before you package.
Name and style, brew date and batch size, original gravity (OG), your target final gravity, fermentation temperature and yeast strain, plus a full timeline of dated readings (newest first). There's also a dated additions log for dry hops, finings, and fruit so you remember exactly what went in on which day. A status badge flips from fermenting to done, and you always see the days since brew day.
No account, no cloud, no tracking. Every batch is saved in your own browser with localStorage, so your recipes never leave your device and the app works on the bench with no signal. Core logging is free forever; an optional one-time Pro unlock adds CSV export, batch comparison, recipe cloning, and gravity trend charts.
