ClipVault Privacy Policy

ClipVault does not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal data. Period. Everything the extension does happens locally in your browser. There is no server, no analytics, no tracking, and no account.

What it does with your data

• Screenshots stay on your device. When you click the ClipVault icon, it captures the visible tab and opens a local editor. The image never leaves your computer and is discarded when you close the editor tab.
• No uploads. Annotation, redaction (black-out / pixelate), and export all run in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Permissions, and why

• activeTab — to capture the tab you're looking at, only when you click the icon.
• storage — to hand the captured image to the editor page, and to remember your Pro license key on your own device.

Payments & licenses

Pro is an optional one-time purchase paid in cryptocurrency directly to the developer's wallet. The license key is verified offline in your browser. We never see your payment details; the blockchain transaction is between you and the network.
